Meet the Team

Molly (Dilute Calico) and Morris (Orange) are our house cats and are wonderful greeting committee. They can often be found lounging on top of the keyboard or on the desk staring at you for affection. Molly is originally from Scotland and has found her fur-ever home here at Cats’ Castle. Morris came to us a few years ago and we have welcome him with open paws!

Kirsten – Animals have been a central part of her life since she was a little girl.  She has been involved in many aspects of animal rescue including fostering kittens.  A graduate of York University she has gained many hands on skills over the past 12 years.  She is married and the proud mom of two daughters and 2 fur babies: 1 cat named Brighton and 1 dog named Stella.

Jess – A former Oakville and Milton Humane Society animal care attendant.  Jess has had experience with ALL kinds of animals including those that don’t live in your home: elephants, reindeer, camels, ponies and very big cats – Cheetahs! (she worked at African Lions Safari).  A graduate of the University of Guelph, while she was in school, she also volunteered at the animal care service right on campus!  Jess has two special kitties of her own named Kona and Dexter.

Kylie – Kylie has been working with Cats’ Castle on and off since she was 13 years old nearly 10 years ago! When she went off to the University of Guelph, she took the opportunity to work at the Guelph Humane Society, and as a veterinary assistant in a vet clinic. After graduation Kylie gained experience with some more out of the ordinary animals like lemurs, porcupines and even Kangaroos with Hands On Exotics! She loves all things furry, but has a special fur baby in her life named Safari!

Ron – Ron is the owner and mastermind behind Cats’ Castle Cat Hotel. He is a true cat lover, who has made Cats’ Castle a home away from home for so many families. He has been in the boarding industry since 2001. Ron and his Wife Pat hold a few special kitties close to their heart named Puma, Kluie and April.

Nicole – Nicole has been working at Cats Castle for just over a year now. She joined the Cats’ Castle team with a wide range of animal experience. She formally worked as a veterinary assistant in Burlington. Before that she gained experience working at the African Lion Safari as a tour guide! She has two rescue cats named Jeremy and Milo.

Amber – Amber is one of our recent members to join the Cats’ Castle family. Amber has successfully completed her Animal Care program at Sheridan College where she gained experience working and caring for a variety of cats with special requirements. Amber formerly worked as an animal care attendant at Upper Credit Humane Society and as a veterinary assistant in Georgetown. When she is not working, she can be found fostering cats and finding them fur-ever homes. She has a dog named Rosco and three cats named Nala, Dori and Squeakers whom she loves dearly.
